The National Quality Framework
The National Quality Framework is a government program that establishes a National Quality Standard for early childhood education and care services across Australia, ensuring better consistency.
This project intends to improve educator-to-child ratios in services and increase skills and qualifications, national laws, and a quality rating system that will assist you in making informed decisions about your child’s education and care.
Quality Area 1
Educational programs and practice
Educators’ educational programs and practices are child-centred, exciting, and maximise chances for each child’s learning and development.
Quality Area 2
Children’s health and safety
Children have the right to receive high-quality education and care in a setting that promotes and protects their health, safety, and well-being.
Quality Area 3
Physical Environment
The physical environment is safe, appropriate, and offers a wide range of activities that support children’s learning and development.
Quality Area 4
Staffing Arrangements
Qualified and experienced educators provide predictable surroundings and encourage children’s active participation in the learning program by developing warm, respectful connections.
Quality Area 5
Relationships with children
Children have the right to receive high-quality education and care in a setting that promotes and protects their health, safety, and well-being.
Quality Area 6
Collaborative partnerships with families and communities
The physical environment is safe, appropriate, and offers a wide range of activities that support children’s learning and development.
Quality Area 7
Governance and Leadership
Effective service leadership and management contribute to high-quality learning and development environments for children. Influential leaders build common service values and provide clear direction for continual improvement.
The goal of Superheroes Early Learning Centre is to exceed the National Quality Standard in all areas of service, and each centre has a quality improvement plan in place to illustrate how we’re achieving it. Educational programs and practices, children’s health and safety, the physical environment, staffing arrangements, relationships with children, and collaborative partnerships with families and communities will be examined.
